Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute efficient and maintainable test cases and suites
- Collaborate with Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to maximize reusability of automation scripts
- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential risks and improve product quality
- Review and reconcile project deliverables with IT-quality standards
- Create strategic test plans (functional, regression, and smoke tests) based on user stories and requirements
- Advise management on product readiness and critical quality issues
- Monitor and close gaps in the SDLC process as it relates to quality
- Execute continuous process improvements for quality assurance tools and methodologies
- Deliver clear and effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Document and communicate IT-quality issues and solutions effectively
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of QA documentation
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles
- Experience with formal SDLC processes and documentation
- Proven expertise in wireless WiFi testing (required)
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage deliverables: Requirements, Functional Specs, Test Plans, etc.
- Familiarity with client-server systems and common testing challenges
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
