Job Description
Busy publication and commercial printing company in NJ is hiring experienced Web Offset Press Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Responsibilities include:
Read and interpret job orders.
Set up, operation and maintenance of full size heatset or coldset web offset press.
Continually check registration, color, and quality during shift making adjustments as needed.
1st press operator will lead and develop press crews and advise on production issues.
Meet or exceed productivity goals.
Maintain safe and clean work area.
Work closely with pressroom shift supervisor on schedule and jobs requirements.
Qualifications include:
Minimum 5- 7 years' experience operating heatset or coldser web offset presses.
Good eye for color, registration and overall print quality to meet and/or exceed client expectations.
Direct press crews and advise on any necessary changes during press runs.
Good communications skills are required.
Attention to detail.
Team player.
Able to work 4 - midnight or midnight - 8 am shifts.
Starting hourly rates: $27 - $33 + shift differential, company benefits, 401k match and relocation assistance.
