Position Details Pay Range: $63.00/hr (fixed) Location: Washington, DC Program: ACE Hours/Week: 30 Minimum Age: 55 About the Organization For over 25 years, NEW Solutions has connected experienced workers (55+) with federal agency opportunities supporting natural resources and conservation programs. Qualifications Minimum of 20 years of experience in Historic Preservation, Archaeology, Cultural Resources, or related field, OR a MA/MS degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or related field. Experience with NRCS Watershed Programs, document production, and GIS (ARCView). Valid Driver's License and proficiency in Windows, MS Office suite. Responsibilities Assist with watershed program planning, review, and technical guidance. Analyze watershed policies and provide recommendations. Review watershed and technical services provided by staff and contractors. Support regulatory and policy analysis related to conservation projects. Coordinate with project sponsors to manage schedules. Additional Details Travel and overnight travel required, approximately 2 weeks/year. Participation in annual safety and anti-harassment training. Position is temporary and at-will; employment is not guaranteed.
