Roles & Responsibilities: Welcome and assist pet parents during their clinic visits, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience. Safely handle and restrain pets during wellness procedures such as vaccinations, nail trims, and microchipping. Prepare and administer vaccines and accurately label and dispense medications. Collect and prepare blood and fecal samples for lab analysis. Support product and service recommendations tailored to pet lifestyle and health needs. Promote microchipping and educate pet owners on the advantages of preventive care. Transport the company vehicle to various clinic locations, including loading and unloading of equipment and supplies. Collaborate with your team to meet clinic objectives safely and efficiently. Essential Functions/Job Duties: Assist in pet wellness procedures under the guidance of licensed veterinary professionals. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment through effective disinfection of clinic spaces and equipment. Track and manage product inventory, monitoring expiration dates. Utilize clinic equipment and digital tools, such as tablets and Bluetooth devices. Ensure a safe, respectful, and organized clinic environment for pets, pet owners, and team members. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to drive a company vehicle to clinic locations. Ability to reliably commute to and from work. Open availability for weekends and varied weekday shifts, including occasional overnight travel. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work full clinic days (up to 12-14 hours). Comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions. Exhibit a professional appearance, demonstrate punctuality, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in customer service, retail, or animal care is advantageous. Comfortable using tablets and Bluetooth-enabled devices. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Willingness to educate pet parents about clinic services and product offerings. Physical Requirements: Capable of performing job functions consistently with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant standards. Maintain regular attendance in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards. Comfortable occasionally working outdoors in varying weather. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods while assisting in animal care and handling.
