Job Description
Truity Partners is supporting a prominent manufacturer in Waukesha, WI with their search for a Trade Compliance / Customs Specialist. This is a permanent direct hire opportunity, offing a hybrid work schedule (1-2 days in office per week required). Compensation is estimated at $110,000 - $130,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reduce costs by improving customs and supply chain processes
- Prepare/file customs declarations and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations
- Work with government agencies and trade partners to resolve issues
- Partner with internal departments regarding changes to laws and regulations
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or similar field required
- Knowledge of US/international trade and customs regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field preferred
- ERP experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
