Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Teradata DB administration tasks like user, database, role, profile setup and maintenance.
2. Experience in Security and Space management (Partitioning, Data Compression).
3. Performance & DB Monitoring (Handling experience in DB locks issue, priority scheduling, Query Tuning, Query log analyzer).
4. ARC Main for DB Backup and Restoration and BAR solution.
5. DB performance, DB Growth and usage report generation (PMCP performance monitoring & Capacity Planning reports), Data Skew Reports.
6. Ferret, DBS Console, Check Table.
7. TASM and Teradata, Work Load Manager, TPT.
8. Well versed with View Point for DB monitoring.
9. Should be able to take up lead role for one of the application sectors.
10. Should understand onsite-offshore delivery model.
