Job Description

Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) is seeking a seasoned program leader to optimize and elevate the DSV transition program. This highly motivated change agent will refine and apply the strategy and execution framework for this critical enterprise-level initiative so that Marketplace and Merchandising teams are able to drive appropriate supplier and item level transitions at scale with speed. These transitions will result in improved customer experience through faster ship speeds and support company-level sales goals. This role is highly visible and needs a leader who will work cross-functionally to set goals and milestones and ensure teams have the right data, tools, content, and support necessary to achieve these program level goals.

About the team

WFS plays a critical role in improving the Walmart customer value proposition, especially for delivery speed. This role reports into the Seller and Program Management team, which focuses on building and driving initiatives to help third party sellers sell more on and off Walmart, bring additional assortment to Walmart with faster shipping speed, and grow their business using Walmart tools and services.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the general manager for the DSV transition program, leading through influence to connect appropriate teams and leaders across WFS, Marketplace, Merchandising, Finance, Product, and Tech to achieve aggressive goals.
  • Provide data-driven analysis and insights to help drive supplier and item level transition strategies and performance as well as collaborate with internal and external business partners to gather and action on participant feedback.
  • Define and drive program initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring stakeholder groups understand needed efforts and the progress against goals. Implement processes and reporting based on categories and suppliers.
  • Build and/or modify communication mechanisms and operating cadence to keep peers, stakeholders, and leaders aware of program status, highlighting successes and risks. Identify key debate or decision points and drive appropriate alignment to resolve.
  • Drive processes across different areas of the business to ensure efficiency and compliance by establishing timelines, workflows, and requirements. Determine and develop additional materials, tools, or trainings that are needed to enable program progress.
