Senior Estimator General Construction
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimation process for general construction projects nationwide. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to projects that range from 20,000 to over 1 million square feet.
What You'll Do
- Lead bid processes, secure subcontractor bids, and optimize vendor selection for profitability.
- Analyze plans, specifications, and materials, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Develop proposals that account for scheduling, risk, and value engineering opportunities.
- Oversee document control and ensure seamless coordination throughout the estimation process.
- Manage RFIs to resolve discrepancies and maintain clarity for clients.
- Leverage data from completed projects to refine cost accuracy and drive improvements.
- Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Conduct market research on labor, materials, and pricing to optimize decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in general construction estimating or a combination of project management and estimating.
- Strong background in self-performing work and production estimates.
- Knowledge of design-build and general construction methods, with familiarity in CSI format.
- Advanced organizational and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite (including Project), AutoCAD, and estimating software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Additional Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM5 PM, with flexibility as deadlines require.
- Travel: Frequent, primarily for site visits or vendor meetings across the U.S.
