Our spotlight brand is EPC - short for Epicurean is a single terroir driven Champagne house, offering sustainably crafted, with 100% traceable production. They focus on lower sugar and sulfite levels, clean expressions, and a more authentic style than mass-market houses
About the Role
We’re looking for a connected, motivated Sales Representative to lead EPC’s growth across NYC’s most discerning restaurants, bars, and retailers. You’ll be responsible for opening doors, building long-term relationships, and helping us introduce EPC to buyers who value craftsmanship and integrity over hype
Key Responsibilities
- Open and grow on-premise (restaurants, bars, hotels) and off-premise (wine shops, retailers) accounts
- Schedule and host tastings, meetings, and educational sessions
- Tell the EPC story with authenticity and passion — highlighting sustainability, sourcing, and stylistic differences
- Attend wine events and activations to showcase the brand
- Provide regular updates on account progress, challenges, and opportunities
- Collaborate with the PortoVino teams to share market insights
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Experienced in wine/beverage sales, distribution, or hospitality
- Connected and active in the NYC food & wine scene
- A strong communicator with a natural ability to build relationships
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with flexible hours and performance-based work
- Passionate about sustainability and artisanal wine producer.
Bonus Points For:
- WSET or other wine certifications
- Existing relationships with NYC buyers or sommeliers
- Experience planning tastings, pop-ups, or brand events
