Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Retail Director to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Retail Director, you will recommend, develop, and implement the strategic retail program over multiple retail outlets.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $78,400 - $105,800 / year. In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?

• Act as a liaison with unit and client management for retail plan development
• Manage merchandise planning, buying, and inventory based on sales trends
• Oversee operational activities including game-day operations, profit & loss, financial monitoring, and reporting
• Lead retail locations, merchandising, and display efforts to maximize revenue
• Develop customer and employee promotions with retail managers
• Collaborate with the Corporate Retail Team on marketing and sourcing new products
• Incorporate market trends into product selection
• Hire, train, and develop retail team members

More About You

• At least 5+ years in retail management, including 3-5 years in store operations and merchandising
• Experience buying licensed products preferred
• Background in sports-related retail operations preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred
• Financial accountability experience for revenues over $10 million, including P&L, inventory, and merchandising
• Retail marketing and brand management expertise
• Ability to work cross-functionally across departments
• Proficiency in Word & Excel; knowledge of POS systems preferred
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking
