Are you a hand on experienced General manager in the restaurant industry? The
role we are seeking calls for Hands on management style that likes to be shoulder to
shoulder with their team, role modeling the expectations. This is not a desk, clip
board style position. The candidate we are seeking will have the knowledge and
ability to work within an independent restaurant environment while maintaining and
building systems to be more productive, consistent, and profitable. This takes a
knowledge and “trench” experience to be able to lead, develop and build a highly
productive team in both HOH and FOH. You will be stepping into the Chef, Prep,
cook, clean, order, shift management, scheduling writing functions at first to see
where the improvement and building upon existing systems and processes that are
working. In essence. You are building your quality of life by starting plan you see fit to
do the above. Sales building and profit flowing results will open the door to multi-unit
position within the restaurant group.
This person must have a firm yet respectful leadership style to grow the business in
seasonal sales and non season reality.
Guest focused, sales driven profit minded Labor aware and reacting, cost control

Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant,
ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, P&L statements, and financial
performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets for location.
Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of managers
and staff members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Guest Satisfaction: Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to enhance
guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and overall
restaurant ambiance to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Vendor and Inventory Management: Oversee purchasing and inventory control
processes, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal stock levels.
Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute
local marketing strategies and promotions to drive sales growth.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and
uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational and
financial performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager within the restaurant industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a
diverse team.
Solid understanding of financial aspects of restaurant management, including
budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related
field preferred.
ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
