Job Description
An established equipment supplier is seeking a Repair Technician to join its growing team in Southeast Virginia. This role is responsible for performing equipment repairs, routine maintenance, and occasional on-site service.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities Include:
- Perform equipment diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance both in-shop and at customer job sites
- Use hand, power, and diagnostic tools to inspect and service machinery
- Install and test equipment while providing customers with proper usage instructions
- Provide training on equipment as needed
- Answer client inquiries and provide technical support over the phone
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicles and shop workspace
- Conduct routine maintenance on company service vehicles
- Accurately complete service documentation and time/inventory tracking for all jobs
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of hands-on experience as a service or repair technician, preferably in the rental or equipment industry
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using standard diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
