We are a growing staffing agency with offices in Reading & Lebanon PA, specializing in placing semi-skilled to skilled talent in manufacturing and warehouse environments. Our clients depend on us for reliable, capable workers in roles such as machine operators, CNC technicians, maintenance mechanics, forklift drivers, shipping/receiving leads, and skilled assemblers. We are seeking an experienced Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the nuances of recruiting skilled trades and industrial talent. This role will focus on full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to placement for manufacturing and warehouse clients who require precision, reliability, and technical capabilities in their workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Source and recruit skilled and semi-skilled candidates through job boards, networking, social media, and referrals.
Conduct screening interviews to assess technical skills, certifications, work history, and cultural fit.
Coordinate skills testing, background checks, and reference verification.
Match candidates to client job orders based on qualifications, shift availability, and preferences.
Maintain strong communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand evolving staffing needs.
Track pipeline progress and candidate status in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Attend job fairs, hiring events, and industry networking opportunities as needed.
Support onboarding, orientation, and occasional client site visits to ensure successful placements.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing agency or high-volume industrial environment.
Proven success recruiting for skilled/semi-skilled roles (e.G., machinists, welders, forklift operators, maintenance techs).
Familiarity with light industrial manufacturing workflows and safety standards.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with both clients and candidates effectively.
Proficient in ATS platforms and common sourcing tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
