Job Summary

Provides Structured Literacy instruction to students on an individual or small-group basis for proactive or remedial purposes, in-person at our literacy center in Oceanside, CA.

General Accountabilities

Provides private instruction in-person to individual or small groups of students to improve literacy skills and academic performance.
Assesses students' progress throughout tutoring sessions.
Collaborates with management to determine students needs, develop tutoring plans, and assess students progress.
Communicates progress to parents and management.
Implements intervention strategies and individualized tutoring plans for students.
Maintains records of students' assessment results, progress, and attendance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
Prepares lesson plans or learning modules for tutoring sessions according to students' needs and goals.
Keep work area and literacy center organized and tidy.
