Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Princeton NJ
We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a background in Psychiatry to join our practice full time in Princeton, NJ. We are a growing and dynamic infusion clinic providing exceptional care to our patients in need. We are looking for a motivated, skilled, and personable Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team! Under oversight of the medical director, the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at our clinic is responsible for the medical care of patients undergoing ketamine therapy. Day-to-day activities will include clinical administration and oversight of ketamine infusions, as well as patient relationship development and clinic team support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with management of patient care
  • Administer infusions to patients in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Monitor patients during the infusion process, with appropriate intervention and escalation given adverse events.
  • Engage in therapeutic communications to ensure psychological safety for patients throughout their session.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and efficacy data.
  • Manage a highly organized, safe, and clean work area.
  • Develop trusting, long-term relationships with patients.
  • Clinic Team Support
  • Co-manage medical inventory on behalf of the clinical team, and in coordination with the central operations team.
  • Demonstrate high levels of interpersonal and communication skills necessary to consistently receive and greet visitors, patients, and staff members in a professional manner.
  • Administer injections and apply dressings as instructed.
  • Perform venipuncture as required.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
  • Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments.
  • Help schedule patients with outside consultants.
  • Order and maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain patient files, records, and other information.
  • Suggest improvements to work methods.
  • Train new employees.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an Accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Program
  • ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in NJ
  • Background/experience in Psychiatry is required
  • Knowledgeable and highly competent in placing an IV, phlebotomy, and running an infusion pump

  • $70-90/hr
