Position: Orthopedic Surgeon
Location: Ocala Florida area Short drive to The Villages and Orlando
Base Salary: $450,000 plus annually
We are looking for a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon skilled in knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, able to work within a primarily outpatient setting with assigned hospital privileges and call rotation. Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform surgeries, including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR.
- Participate in on-call rotations according to hospital requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
- Remain current with advancements in orthopedic practices and techniques.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Active Florida state medical license and eligibility for hospital privileges.
- Proficiency in Epic EMR preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
