Salary: $1995 / Week
Occupational Therapist – School-Based (Escondido, CA)
Start Date: ASAP – June 10, 2026
Location: Escondido, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Setting: In-person only, across multiple school sites (typically one site per day; occasional travel between sites may be required)
Grade Levels: Elementary and Middle School
Caseload: 55–65 students
Classroom Environment: Special Education classrooms
Compensation
Requirements
Active California Occupational Therapist (CA OT) license
Minimum 1 year of professional OT experience preferred
Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
CPR certification (if applicable)
TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)
Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Responsibilities
Conduct student evaluations
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Provide direct therapy services
Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with student care plans
Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student success
