Job Title:
Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Assistant

Location:
Fontana, CA Kaiser Permanente Facility
Primarily onsite with occasional video appointments

Compensation & Contract Details:

• All-Inclusive Hourly Rate: $125/hour
• Overtime Rate: $187.50/hour (after 8 hours/day)
• Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 3 months with the option to extend
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
• EMR System: HealthConnect (Kaiser Permanentes version of EPIC)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide outpatient OB/GYN care at a well-established clinic in Fontana, CA . This is a full-time, contract opportunity offering competitive pay and a stable MondayFriday schedule.

The PA will provide comprehensive prenatal and gynecologic care to women of all ages. Strong experience in OB care is required , and the ability to perform early dating ultrasounds (as early as 8 weeks) is highly preferred. Some telehealth appointments may be included in the weekly schedule.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct OB/GYN patient assessments and manage follow-up care
• Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including early pregnancy dating and evaluations
• Perform well-woman exams, Pap smears, and gynecologic screenings
• Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care
• Perform minor outpatient procedures (e.g., IUD/Nexplanon insertion/removal)
• Interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
• Perform early OB ultrasounds (highly preferred, but not required)
• Utilize HealthConnect/EPIC EMR for all documentation
• Conduct video visits as scheduled
• Collaborate with supervising OB/GYN physician and full clinical support team (RNs & LVNs)

Patient Load:

• Estimated 2024 patients/day
• Scheduled: 1213 patients per 4-hour block (AM & PM)

Support Structure:

• Team includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and an available Supervising Physician

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Active California PA License required
• DEA Certification required
• BLS Certification required
• Strong experience in obstetric and gynecologic outpatient care required
• Proficiency or training in performing early OB ultrasounds highly preferred
• Experience with GYN preventive care and screenings required
• Familiarity with EPIC/HealthConnect EMR preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

Additional Information:

• IMLC not accepted must have an active California license
• No inpatient or hospital coverage outpatient clinic only
