Must hold a certificate issued by Oklahoma State Department of Education.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Band, Chorus/Vocal, Music (General), Music Therapy, Orchestra.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The certificate status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Newcastle Public Schools has an opening for a High School/Middle School choir director. The director will be responsible for teaching middle school and high school choirs and other courses as needed. The position requires good communication and organizational skills. Newcastle Public Schools is a growing community and a 4 day school week.
