Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs using Micro Focus COBOL.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of COBOL applications.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing COBOL applications on Micro Focus environments (e.g., Visual COBOL, Enterprise Server).
Assist in migration and modernization of legacy COBOL applications.
Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
Support production systems and resolve any issues or defects.
