Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations team supporting the overall functionality of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Travelers Rest, SC

Pay Range: $24.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of machinery and equipment, including preventative maintenance to production machinery.
• Diagnose maintenance problems, disassemble, and make repairs and adjustments as necessary.
• Initiate purchase orders for repair parts and materials, ensuring timely maintenance operations.
• Develop and adhere to a preventative maintenance program to maintain equipment in a safe and proper operating condition.
• Respond to after-hours operational emergencies as needed.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively.
• Strong understanding of schematics, diagrams, and operational manuals.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and logs of work performed.
