THE CLIENT
This particular client is a mid-sized A&E Firm (200 ppl, 50 in EE) who work on a wide variety of projects, including: Healthcare, Education, Science & Technology, Sports stadiums, Mission Critical/ Data Centers, Hi-rise/ multi-unit residential, mixed-use, etc.
OVERVIEW
The ideal Candidate will be tasked with the development and execution of overall project lighting design concepts.
ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide the design, development and documentation of lighting systems and associated control systems on small, medium, and large and complex projects
Research and document any required code review, product research
Develop materials for client presentations and review meetings and present lighting and control system concepts/ designs to clients and/ or for design review, site visits
Develop and edit project specifications for lighting and control systems
Review product shop drawings/ submittals
Review and respond to RFIs
Develop construction administration field observation reports
REQUIRED/ HIGHLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
3+ yrs of related lighting design experience
NCQLP Lighting Certified (LC) and/ or CLD certification (preferred)
Autodesk Revit required, MS 365 required, MS BIM coordination (a plus)
Industry standard lighting calculation software (Visual, ElumTools, AGi32, etc.)
