Law Clerk – Plaintiff-Side Class Action Employment Law

Our client is a respected plaintiff-side employment law firm focused on high-impact class and collective actions. They represent workers in wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace rights cases — with a strong emphasis on systemic litigation and social justice outcomes.
Position Summary:
The firm seeks a detail-oriented Law Clerk to support attorneys on complex employment litigation matters, including class and PAGA actions. This role is ideal for a law student or recent graduate with a strong interest in plaintiff-side advocacy and workers’ rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on employment and labor law issues
- Assist with the drafting and editing of motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Analyze large volumes of documents and assist with evidentiary review
- Support case strategy development through fact investigation and legal analysis
- Prepare summaries, chronologies, and deposition outlines
- Assist attorneys with trial prep, including exhibit organization and briefing support
- Help draft class certification motions and support PAGA claim documentation
Qualifications:
- Current JD candidate or recent law school graduate
- Demonstrated interest in employment law, workers' rights, or class action litigation
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Comfortable working with document-heavy cases and tight deadlines
