ABOUT THE POSITION: As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, Marketing Manager, and Marketing team to execute high-impact creative across packaging, in-store displays, social media, email, and more. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment while working with some of the most exciting cannabis brands in the market.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER: - Support the creation of marketing materials including digital ads, social media graphics, email layouts, retail signage, and product packaging.
- Assist with developing brand assets and maintaining consistency across multiple cannabis brands.
- Collaborate with senior creatives to bring campaign concepts to life across multiple touchpoints.
- Resize, format, and prepare files for production (print + digital).
- Support internal teams with design needs for events, presentations, and educational materials.
- Manage multiple projects with fast turnarounds while maintaining attention to detail.
- Stay current on design trends, cannabis marketing regulations, and brand aesthetics.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pay Rate: Annual salary $43,000 - $53,000, depending on experience
Minimum Qualifications (Required): - 2-3 years of professional design experience (internship or freelance experience counts).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Understanding of design fundamentals: layout, typography, color theory.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print work (bonus if it includes lifestyle, packaging, or cannabis content).
- Ability to take direction and apply feedback quickly and accurately.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Canva, 3D, motion design, photography, or social content creation.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred): - Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
- Industry knowledge preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Cannabis-related education.
