LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours located in Detroit who is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their vibrant team now.

Overview:

Join a dynamic finance team where you'll play a key role in supporting daily financial operations and ensuring the integrity of accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compile financial reports for internal use

  • Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies

  • Reconcile daily transactions and assist departments with financial data validation

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely postings

  • Follow internal control procedures to maintain financial security

  • Summarize financial data for leadership and cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrate strong time management and problem-solving skills

  • Support the Accounts Payable process, including invoice tracking and vendor coordination

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred

  • Experience in a banking or credit union environment ideal

  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable workflows

  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Salary range: $55,000 – $70,000

  • Paid gated parking

  • Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
