About the Role:

The Janitorial Subcontractor plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position involves executing a range of cleaning tasks, from routine maintenance to specialized deep cleaning, tailored to the specific needs of each site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own schedule, ensuring that all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Additionally, the Janitorial Subcontractor will be expected to communicate effectively with facility managers and staff to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall appearance and functionality of the facilities serviced.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services industry, preferably in Commercial properties.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must hold Commercial General Liability Insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Experience with specialized cleaning equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
• Conduct deep cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas as needed.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily tasks.
• Respond to special cleaning requests from facility management and adjust cleaning schedules accordingly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel.
