Position: International Trade Associate

Location: Washington, DC

Experience Level: 4–8 Years

Description:

A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified International Trade Associate with 4–8 years of experience to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission , along with broad experience across customs, trade remedies, and national security-related regulatory matters .

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in antidumping, countervailing, and safeguard duty proceedings
• Advise on customs compliance and enforcement matters
• Handle regulatory issues involving export controls and sanctions (including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC )
• Counsel clients on CFIUS reviews and other national security compliance issues
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, advocacy briefs, and filings

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of legal experience in international trade, with focus on trade remedies and/or customs
• Admission to practice in Washington, DC
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
