Hotel Group Sales Manager (All Markets) We’re looking for an active, customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to be the next sales manager at our busy hotel. You will be focused on responding to leads generated by the Director of Sales for new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via emails, phone calls, on-site visits, and sales tours. This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue by creating attractive proposals and closing business leads. Responsibilities: Generate new business via inside sales efforts, including responding to leads, telephone cold calls, email communications, managing reports from CRVA, and hosting on-site visits and sales tours Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities Establish and grow market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major groups, catering clients, and Hyatt Sales Force contacts Review leads from CVENT, CRVA, and other sources weekly with the Sales Admin and follow up to close business Coordinate with the Event Team on custom menus requested for proposals Support the director of sales in preparing the department budget and the hotel's sales strategy Contract group business and hand over to the Event Team for detailing Represent the hotel at industry tradeshows and conferences, adhering to budget and marketing plans Position Summary: This role is responsible for driving group room sales across all market segments, excluding wedding-related business. The Group Sales Manager will focus on securing group bookings, developing new business opportunities, and representing the hotel in various industry events and partnerships. Market Coverage : Handle group business across all segments, excluding weddings. Lead Management : Respond to inquiries for groups, with or without meetings or events. Business Development : Prospect for new group business opportunities. Site Tours : Conduct scheduled property tours for prospective clients. Networking : Attend networking events to build relationships and drive business. Partnership Development : Build and maintain partnerships to support sales and market presence.
