Job Title: HVAC Test/Service Technician
Location : East Syracuse, NY, 13057
Duration : 12+ Months Contract
Max Pay: $27/hr
Position comments:
100% onsite, Monday-Friday, 2nd shift hours (approx. 3p-11:30p)
Required Skill Set :
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years HVAC or maintenance experience required; however, additional education may be considered in place of years or experience
• Must obtain EPA refrigerant certification EPA608 within 60 days of start date to remain eligible for position, at their own expense.
Desired Skills Set :
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
• Experience with basic electrical wiring (3 phase electrical experience a plus)
• Experience working with combustible and pressurized gasses.
• Experience with refrigeration cycles and components used within those cycles.
• Proficiency in brazing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand test procedures.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and consistent emails.
• Strong safety record.
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities with very short notice.
Education Qualification :
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
