The Job
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate clients' current fitness levels and health conditions.
- Develop customized fitness plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Lead one-on-one and group fitness sessions, demonstrating proper techniques and ensuring safety.
- Offer basic advice on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Track clients' progress, adjusting exercise plans as needed.
- Monitor the use of fitness equipment to ensure clients exercise safely and effectively.
- Encourage and motivate clients to stay committed to their fitness goals.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends, research, and best practices.
- Inspire and motivate customers.
The Profile
Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is often preferred.
- Certifications from recognized organizations such as ACE, NASM, ACSM, or NSCA.
- Knowledge of fitness programs, diet plans, and health and wellness principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to motivate others, and knowledge of diverse exercise techniques.
- Proven experience as a wellness coach or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire customers of all fitness levels and backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Passionate about fitness and wellness
