Salina Kansas Office: JCS Inc. a fiber optics integration company, specializing in fiber to the home is looking for mainline fiber optic splicers working on projects in Kansas and Missouri. Our office is based in Salina, Kansas. Team members do not need to travel to the office to report to work. Team members travel from home to project or hotel to project based on the job assignment and distance from your home.

Are you a skilled Fiber Optic Splicer looking for a rewarding opportunity? J Carlson Services Inc. is seeking a talented individual to join our team and help us continue to provide top-notch fiber optic solutions to our clients.

Pay: $28.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Fiber Optic Splicer duties, including fusion splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables.
• Interpret fiber optic schematics and blueprints to efficiently complete splicing projects.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate documentation of splicing procedures and project progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer in a telecommunications or related field.
• Valid Driver's License with a safe Driving record is required ( Past 5 years)
• Travel 100% Monday - Friday is required
• Proficiency in fusion splicing techniques and fiber optic testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to get a DOT medical card and pass a DOT Drug Screen
