Join a nationally recognized law firm and support a team of experienced attorneys on a variety of employment-based immigration cases. Compensation: $55,000 to commensurate with experience
Responsibilities: - Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions, including H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, I-140, PERM, and NIW (with occasional naturalization and family-based cases)
- Proactively manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
- Track and manage case deadlines, expiration dates, and status updates
- Draft supporting documentation and correspondence to government agencies
- Communicate directly with clients to gather required information and documentation
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of filings while meeting strict deadlines
- Collaborate with attorneys and fellow paralegals to deliver exceptional client service
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience in employment-based immigration law
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and general case management systems
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong ethical standards
- Reliable transportation required
