Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our virtual support team. This remote position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a flexible environment and has a strong background in bookkeeping for small businesses across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

  • Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks Online and/or other accounting software

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and custom reports for clients

  • Process payroll and related filings (as needed)

  • Manage invoicing, payment tracking, and expense categorization

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal procedures

  • Collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure accurate, timely financial data

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end preparations

Qualifications

  • Qualifications

    :

  • 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience (remote experience preferred)

  • Accounting Degree (preferred)

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (certification preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with additional tools (e.g., Gusto, FreshBooks, Xero, Microsoft Excel) is a plus
