Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Editor to join a leading global streaming platform’s publishing team on a three-month contract . This role will focus on managing and updating editorial recommendations content —including genre-based watch lists, anniversaries of notable releases, and weekly guides.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining the editorial calendar, collaborating with writers, shaping editorial tone, and ensuring content is current, SEO-optimized, and aligned with brand standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced editor with a strong understanding of digital publishing and entertainment media.

Start Date: 6/16/2025

End Date: 9/12/2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly update existing recommendations content across a variety of genres and formats
• Project manage editorial updates from start to finish, including AirTable card creation and production tracking
• Assign, edit, and review work from freelance and contract writers
• Author and revise editorial content as needed to align with brand voice and publishing standards
• Ensure consistency in structure, tone, and presentation of all recommendations articles
• Collaborate with the Growth and Research teams to integrate SEO insights, audience data, and performance analytics
• Maintain and execute a consistent editorial calendar in alignment with publishing priorities

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in digital editorial, publishing, or content marketing
• Strong editing and writing skills with experience in tone development and content packaging
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content performance metrics
• Experience working within editorial content management systems; familiarity with AirTable is a plus
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A passion for streaming content, entertainment media, and audience-first storytelling
