Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in IT database roles
Experience with high availability and disaster recovery database systems
AWS or Azure certification is preferred

Neo4j (graph database)
CockroachDB
Strong background in Oracle and MySQL (considered if no Neo4j/Cockroach but strong AWS/cloud skills)

Responsibilities

Support and troubleshoot CockroachDB , Neo4j , Azure SQL MI , and Azure MySQL
Build and configure DB infrastructure in AWS (using tools like CloudFormation)
Support production and implement proactive monitoring using DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, etc.
Handle incident, change, and problem management processes
Participate in on-call and weekend change management rotation
Develop and maintain clear technical documentation and operational standards
Write basic automation/scripts (shell, Python, etc.)
Collaborate across infrastructure, application, and support teams
Work within Agile methodologies
