Position: Commercial Plumbing Supervisor

Location: Costa Mesa, CA (and surrounding project sites within OC and LA)

Compensation: $100,000 to $150,000 base (DOE) + Company Vehicle + Gas Card

Working with the owner directly for a licensed electrical and plumbing contractor based near Costa Mesa, CA, delivering high-quality work across a variety of commercial projects throughout Southern California. Role Overview:

We’re looking for a hands-on Commercial Plumbing Supervisor to lead and oversee plumbing crews around 15 across multiple commercial job sites. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership position focused on productivity, quality, safety, and keeping projects on schedule. The right person will be organized, proactive, and a solid communicator who knows how to manage people and projects in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all plumbing activities on commercial job sites
  • Manage, schedule, and mentor field plumbing crews
  • Ensure jobs are completed according to code, design specifications, and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with the office, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
  • Assist with material ordering, delivery coordination, and jobsite logistics
  • Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing plans
  • Handle basic troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of field issues
  • Participate in site walks, punch lists, and project closeouts

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience
  • Prior experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent
  • Ability to manage teams and delegate effectively
  • Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, California plumbing codes, and job site safety
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber certification a plus
  • Comfortable with iPads or basic field reporting technology
