Georgetown Preparatory School, the nation's oldest Jesuit high school, is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Choral Director to lead our vocal music program. The ideal candidate will inspire students through a love of music, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and bring a collaborative spirit to our fine arts team. This position involves directing two choral ensembles and organizing a variety of performances throughout the academic year. This will include organizing and attending musical events outside of school hours. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Choral Conducting or a related field and experience leading choral ensembles. The ideal candidate will also have experience with and appreciation for the Jesuit model of education, and a desire to train and care for the whole student in accordance with the Jesuit philosophy cura personalis .
