We are seeking a seasoned Auto Dealership Body Shop Manager to lead our skilled team of body technicians and support staff. This individual will oversee daily operations in our high-performing body shop, ensuring quality repairs, efficient workflow, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate brings both technical understanding and strong leadership to elevate performance and maintain Heart City Toyota's reputation for excellence.

You must have your own tools, and some knowledge of ASE is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the body shop, managing workflow, scheduling, and productivity
  • Ensure high-quality repairs that meet safety and manufacturer standards
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and customers for timely and accurate repair approvals
  • Monitor inventory and equipment to ensure shop readiness and efficiency
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Drive continuous improvement by coaching staff and optimizing processes
Requirements
  • Proven experience in auto body repair management or a senior leadership role in a body shop
  • ASE Certification strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of collision repair techniques, materials, and tools
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, motivate team members, and uphold performance standards
