Squire Ward's in Seward, NE is looking for one bar/restaurant manager to join our strong team. We are located on 133 N 6th St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday (5 nights per week)
Compensation and Benefits negotiable
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bar/Restaurant Manager to oversee nightly operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nightly operations of the bar and restaurant
- Create and manage employee schedules
- Hire, train, and, when necessary, terminate staff
- Monitor employee performance and maintain high service standards
- Take inventory and order supplies as needed
- Work on the floor five nights per week, providing hands-on support and ensuring smooth service
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage staff effectively and maintain a positive work environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures
- Must be available to work evenings Tuesday through Saturday
