As General Sales Manager, you’ll oversee customer retention and drive profitability across multiple departments, including New and Used Vehicle Sales, Finance, and Internet Sales. Responsibilities include managing all showroom activities, hiring, motivating, mentoring, and training the New & Used Sales team, Internet Sales, and Finance Managers, ensuring high CSI scores and monitoring these metrics for improvement, and working with the team to maintain sales profitability according to forecasted sales and expense management goals. Qualifications include automotive industry experience with increasing responsibility, previous automotive leadership experience in a dealership, proven success in managing a large sales staff and sales inventories, strong computer skills and knowledge of how the internet is driving business, ability to maintain a high energy level, leadership by example, and a strong work ethic.
