About the Role
Duties & responsibilities
- Determine coverage and liability.
- Obtain recorded statements of policyholders and other involved parties to the degree necessary to establish a liability determination.
- Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
- Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims.
- Determine most appropriate course for establishing extent of damages.
- Review damage appraisals for accuracy and payment.
- Communicate claims procedures and process to involved parties verbally and in writing.
- Comply with all required reporting requirements, such as ISO, CMS, etc.
- Document activities in claim file notes in clear, complete & concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of relevant work experience in Auto Liability Claims handling

Pay range
- $50,000 + annually (dependent on experience/skills)
