Graphic Artist for Apparel

Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer will create and manage the development of artwork; which includes creating and rotating graphics, sizing, color callouts, and printing technique call outs of time-sensitive vendor communication materials.
Skills and Requirements
- Must send portfolio LINK or pdf to be considered
- 2-4 years of experience within the Fashion Industry
- Understanding of screen print and embellishment techniques and process.
- Possess good sense of layouts, fonts and color
- Team player with the ability to handle a fast paced work environment.
- Ability to work independently under general direction
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Proficient with the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts or related field preferred
Specific Responsibilities:
- Work with Design Director and design team to create and support graphic artwork and production for factories
- Collaborate with the design team to execute final artwork placement and adhere to licensor's specifications.
- Ability to translate sketches into art sheets for production.
- Strong typography and layout skills.
- Has a strong work ethic and focused on attention to detail.
