Job Summary:

Our client, a premier flight school committed to excellence in flight training and maintenance, is seeking a skilled Aviation Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team in Des Moines, IA. This position offers competitive compensation of $35-$45 per hour and outstanding benefits such as medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on piston-powered flight training aircraft.
• Comply with safety protocols and quality standards in a fast-paced aviation setting.
• Utilize computerized logbook systems and adhere to maintenance manuals for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with maintaining piston-powered aircraft.
• FAA Inspection Authorization a plus.
