We’re seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting functions, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and assist the Controller as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience looking to contribute to a reputable company with solid leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily accounting entries and resolve vendor/customer issues for multiple entities utilizing Quickbooks
Reconcile bank accounts and process general ledger transactions
Maintain documentation for subcontractors (W-9s, COIs, exemptions)
Administer company credit card program and track expenses
Assist with job costing, asset tracking, and financial reporting
Support accounts payable and payment processing
Provide backup support to the Controller as needed
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality across tasks
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience utilizing QBO
Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions
Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
