Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the school's mission and educational philosophy.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Provide differentiated instruction to all students to maximize learning outcomes.
Implement the IB Approach to Transdisciplinary learning.
Modify instructional plans and materials to meet individual student needs by analyzing data.
Demonstrate knowledge of educational research, trends and best practices.
Integrate technology and experiential learning into daily instruction.
Foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing classroom environment.
Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development and learning.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and administrators to enhance instructional practices.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
Uphold and model the school’s core values and community expectations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Valid Florida teaching certificate or ability to obtain certification.
Prior experience teaching in an independent or private school setting preferred.
Prior experience in an International Baccalaureate school preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A deep understanding of child development and differentiated instruction.
Enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged children and collaborating with colleagues.
